Sherm Gulbranson, Jerome Theis, and Carl Krummel purchased the business from George Hanson

Carl Krummel passed away

Frank Gruber purchased the business from Sherm Gulbranson and Jerome Theis
February 1998
Jeff and Julie Farris purchased the business from Frank Gruber
2006
Became incorporated and changed the name to Pierce County Meats
2009
Launched our first website
2019
Feb. 17th: Launched www.piercecoutymeats.org
Aug. 16th: Discontinued "On the Farm Butchering" & Partnered with Eggerts Slaughtering in Clear Lake, WI
Aug. 23rd: Purchased custom refrigerated trailer for hauling USDA butchered animals
Sept. 6th: First load of USDA butchered animals hauled from Eggerts to our shop for processing
